Beautifully illustrated Book for little Children designed to teach them the letters of the Alphabet. 24 Full-Page Colour Plates illustarting scenes filled with People, Animals etc and the Letters of the Alphabet. Red cloth spine with grey paper-covered boards. Large Pastedown illustration on front with a Vignette illustration of 3 little children learning their alphabet. Gilt, Red Black & White Title above and decorative border. 11 1/2" Tall, 900g. Some edge wear to boards and paper worn at corners. HInges cracked and some pages loose. Small antique inscription on ffep and penciled note bemneath. No other inscriptions. Colours bright. Pages and plates in very good, clean condition.
