About This Item

Published by Hutchinson & Co., London; 1979. 8vo. This First edition by the popular author Frederick Forsyth is in Near Fine condition. Tightly bound in the original navy boards, with red star detailing to the front board and spine, and silver gilt lettering to the spine. There is some minor bumping to the spine ends and corners, but otherwise the boards are clean and free from marks. Inside the leaves are clean, bright and tightly bound, the book has likely only been read once or twice at most. the only signs of ageing are to the extreme edges where there is some slight spotting and toning, only visible when the book is closed. The dustjacket is also in Near Fine condition, with some slight bumping to the spine ends and corners, corresponding to that of the book's boards. There is some very slight rubbing to the panels and some sunning, to the spine, and also to the bottom of the rear panel and top of the front panel, as if the book has sat between two smaller books on a shelf for some time. Otherwise, this is a very nice example of this modern first edition. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
