Covers edgeworn,spotted, paper spine labels partially chipped off, contents are age-darkened and have very little foxing, bindings are tight, earl owners' names on flyleaves and first text page of second volume. English author's account of his American tour, which appeared in 1839 simultaneously in London , Paris and in various editions in Philadelphia and New York. Howes M -300.
