No annotations or inscriptions. A very few slight marks to text, no tanning or other visible faults. Top & fore edges a little grubby. VG+* Illustrations: None.* Pages: 195 pp. text. xxxv pp. notes & index at rear.* Product Description:- Edited, with a six page introduction, by R.L.Winstanley. The original diary runs from 1740-1803 and this is the first volume of the Norfolk Years 1776-1777. The whole transcription is printed in a typewriter-style font. It is one of 17 volumes published by the Parson Woodforde Society and is the only version that contains the full text of the diary. Earlier books are selections and abridgements and although more professional in appearance, they contain only the author?s personal selection from the original which in places can be very much a matter of taste. At the rear are useful appendices and notes containing amongst other discussions, a glossary and biographical notes of those mentioned in the text.* This is a NEAR FINE copy of the 1st. thus with minimal shelf wear & slightly marked edges and covers reducing it to VG+.*
