L Upcott Gill, 1882. Book. Good. hardback. 1st Edition. hardback, small thick quarto, 11" x 9", brown cloth lettered and blocked with a design in gilt, all edges gilt. Rubbed at the extremities, hinges cracked and the rear free endpaper present but loose. Light marginal stain to the bottom leading corner of the title page and following three leaves. The stitching of the text block remains sound. The text is clean and free of marking. Eight hundred wood engravings, 528pp.
