Causeway Books, New York, 1973, "First US Edition"; (first published in England in 1935), 8vo., 301 p. green top stain. blue & white head/tail bands.
navy blue cloth binding is clean & fresh in its appearance. A minor bump is present on the upper back board. Former bookseller's label is affixed to front pastedown (Gilbert's Book Shop @ Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood, California). Internals are very clean. Un-clipped rubbed jacket has chafing along the upper extremities, a tear, a crease & several chips and loss at spine cap. The lower wrapper has fared a bit better with very minor wear and two chips both at flap folds.
