Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Minor foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild chipping, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has similar chipping and tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.

Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning and tape to spine and edges.

Written by John Bellows, a prolific English writer, polymath, printer and lexicographer. In the original full morocco binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Minor loss to the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the first few pages. Very Good Indeed
