Two-volume set, lacks map at front vol.1, super octavo, half bound, marbled heavy card boards with gilt lettering in black decorative panel between five raised bands to dark-brown leather spine, page edges stained red, xx + 1480pp in two volumes, illus with folding maps, VG- (lacks map at front of vol.1, heavy rubbing to boards with loss of surface, some wear to board corners & edges, various owners' names dates & addresses in ink to prelim, moderate foxing to prelims & terminals, 8 cm tatty closed tear to prelim of vol.1, 12cm closed tear to first map in vol.1 and creasing to several other maps, pinprick burn hole to first 25 pages of vol.2, sporadic light foxing)
