Garden City, New York: Doubleday & Company, 1980. This volume is in Fine, unread condition, with a Near-Fine unclipped dust jacket (click on photo). It contains short biographies on some 5,000 Catholic saints. The book is bound in beige boards with brown spine cloth and gilt spine lettering. The dust jacket has light age toning and several tiny tears. I've placed the dust jacket into a Brodart protective sleeve. The book measures 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches and includes 647 pages. . Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Synopsis

JOHN J. DELANEY , the former director of Doubleday Religious Publishing and founder of Image Books, was an active figure in the world of religious publishing for more than forty years. He also authored A Woman Clothed with the Sun, and translated The Practice of the Presence of God . ARTHUR JONES is currently an editor at large at the National Catholic Reporter , and has previously worked at Forbes and the Financial Times (London). He is the author of several books, including the forthcoming Pierre Toussaint.
