Full leather, detached front cover, leather overall scraped and chipped. Text block is tight and in VERY GOOD condition. Light to moderate scattered foxing throughout. 512 pages. Protected in a mylar slip. SIDEBAR: Editor, Jared Sparks was a Historian, Educator and Minister. He served as President of Harvard College from 1849 - 1853. He served as a Chaplain of the U.S. House of Representatives. He also corresponded with Alexis de Tocqueville. Fabulous / awesome item.
