With original brown decorative box. fine A facsimile reprint of "The Discoverie of the Large, Rich and Beautiful Empyre of Guiana, with a Relation of the great and Golden Citie of Manoa (which the Spanyards call El Dorado) and of the Prouinces of Emeria, Arromaia, Amapaia and other Countries, with their riuers, adioyning" originally published in 1596 and "The Discoveries of the World from their first originall unto the yeere of our Lord 1555" published in 1601. Included is a 20 page booklet with historical introductions and bibliographical notes by A. L. Rowse and Robert O. Dougan. 1966
