Woodcut initials and tailpieces. Text in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. Original vellum, with title inked onto spine. First gathering loose, but otherwise crisp, bright and clean, with minor occasional spots.

The first edition of this collection of theses on the linguistic style of the New Testament, including Pfochenius's Diatribe de Linguae Graecae Novi Testamenti Puritate.

Jacob Rhenferd (1654–1712), professor of Oriental Languages at Franeker University.
