Viking Studio Books 224 pp with color illustrations on every page. In 1966 Russian poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko visited Alaska as part of a series of poetry readings. Flying over Alaska's vast and beautiful land and was intrigued by the similarities to his native Siberia. This book is an extension of these thoughts, written and visual, with his own images of Siberia and Alaska photographs by the American photographer, Boyd Norton. Text is clean, tight and unmarked with a remainder mark on bottom page edges. Bookplate on front endpapers. Dust jacket is bright and intact.
