The author's Dr. John Dolittle character traveled the world from his town of Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, taking advantage of his unusual ability to speak to animals. --- In red pictorial paper-covered boards with Lofting color illustration on cover. Volume bears 1952 date but likely published c.1960s-1970s. Lacks a dust jacket. --- With rubbing to covers, otherwise a bright, unmarked, sound copy.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 149 pages .
