London: Constable and Company Ltd., 1911. GBS is often considered the finest, and most prolific, dramatist of the XXth century; his plays still delight. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. Light green cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine; topedge is gilt, others rough-cut. Clean text: xciv, 407 pages, with four pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Moderate soiling, very light bumping to the corners, and some rubbing to the spine. Contemporary (January 1911) signature on the FFEP. No dustwrapper. A solid copy. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
