Heavy tanning to text block edges. Moderate foxing to pastedowns and endpapers. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean, with light sunning overall.

Leatherbound covers have multiple scratches. Front cover appears to have come off at one point and was taped back on from the inside. Back cover is completely loose. Both covers have stamped decorations in them. All pages intact. In the middle of the book, some of the pages stick out further about 1 mm, but they are not loose. Previous owner's name in on a piece of tape in front cover, as well as on a book plate on the first page. Another signature is above the book plate, dated 1861. The letter "M" is stamped on the title page. No other writing or highlighting in book. Pages are not bent; a few in the front have had small pieces torn from them. Some discoloration. Some of the leather is chipping off the covers.
Book includes many prayers and passages. Different sections of the book have their own page numbers so it is unknown exactly how many pages this book has.
