The Rangers Who Accomplished D-Day's Toughest Mission and Led the Way Across Europe. Tipped-in on the f.f.e.p. is a photocopy of a letter about Ranger Bob Edlin that is autographed by Edlin,"Bob Edlin, "The Fool Lt," 4-1-2001." Edlin was nominated for the Medal of Honor but turned it down because acceptance meant he had to return to the States. He is in the Ranger Hall of Fame & did receive the DSC, Silver Star, Bronze Star twice, & the Purple Heart three times. Hard cover book in near fine cond. The d/w is v.g. or better but the corners do show the sl. of wear.
