Brown cloth boards with orange lettering and running dog design on cover, orange lettering on spine. A few tiny spots of white paint to upper edges. No fraying or wear. Binding is tight and square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with bright orange illustrated endpapers. Small previous owner first name printed at top edge of front free endpaper. 285 pages. Dust jacket is clean but tattered, with large edge chips and 1" piece missing at top of spine, some background fading to spine. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Stewart Edward White introduces us to a delightful gallery of dog personalites who have enriched his life..
