About This Item
Ithaca, NY: Cornell University Press, 1988. Book. As New. Cloth. First Edition. First Edition in English, First Printing. BRAND NEW. Octavo, grey cloth covered boards with gilt spine titles. 320 pp. including index and extensive bibliography. Illustrated throughout with black and white line drawiings and maps, funerary details, site plans etc. Joussaume ranges across the world (althought with a strong emphsis on Western Europe) and across millenia to seek the unifying motifs in structure, engiineering and design of these pre-historic funerary edifices fashioned from massive unhewn slabs. This volume is tight, with very fresh cloth and sparkling gilt spine titles, and unmarked, unblemished and unread interior, in a similar dust jacket which is tight, unclipped, glossy, unmarked and sharp. Very fine in a very fine dust jacket. AS NEW..
