Each entry in the book lists the name of the tenant-in-chief, the amount of land he or she held, the value of the land in pounds of gold, the amount of taxes paid, the number of people living on the land, and other information. The book is an invaluable source of historical information and is still used as a basis for land surveys.; 4to; 351 pages .
