Donald Oenslager delivered the first Doty Lectures in Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin in April, 1975. This volume includes not only the lectures, but his catalog "Four Centuries of Scenic Invention" as well. It is printed on fine paper with a fine cloth binding. There is a letter pasted onto the front endpaper from the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at UT, thanking the recipient of this book for their service as a member of the Fine Arts Advisory Council.
