About This Item

Los Angeles, CA: Amon Carter Museum and the Ward Ritchie Press. Very Good+. 1967. 1st Paperback Edition; 1st Printing. Paperback. B&W Photographs; This edition is paperback. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. The spine joints of the book cover have some light, but noticeable wear and there is some light rubbing and edge wear to the edges of the book covers. There is one very small bump / nick to the top front cover of the book by the spine joint. The rear cover of the book has a couple of lightish scratches. The text pages are clean and bright. The endpapers are a solid green color. Overall, a very good+ copy. "To call Dorothea Lange a Documentary Photographer is an oversimplification. She was that, but she was more. She asked me once to help her to find a better word than documentary for the type of photography in which she so passionately believed and which she accomplished with such understanding, skill and love." .
