About This Item

London: The Folio Society, 2022. First Edition, Second Impression Second Printing. Hardcover. New. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Barrett, Angela. This stunning Folio Society collector's edition of Dracula is a fitting tribute to a gothic masterpiece. Introduction by John Banville. Lavishly illustrated by Angela Barrett with 15 intensely atmospheric colour plates, a set of elaborate hand-drawn borders in gold, black and white, plus 10 black-and-white tailpieces. The illustrations accentuate the sense of foreboding and despair in Stoker's narrative, while the metallic-blocked binding and blood-red marbling on the slipcase complete this sumptuous edition of the classic 19th-century horror. 10" x 6¾". Printed on Abbey Wove paper at Graphicom, Vicenza, Italy. Top page edges coloured red. Black ribbon marker. New copy as received directly from The Folio Society. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Heavy/oversize book. U.K. postage at default charge but overseas buyers will be asked for a little extra. Enquiries welcome. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed-for, and insured.
