About This Item
London: Constable and Co. Ltd., 1961. First Edition . Hardcover. Poor/Good. This is a former school library book with all the expected additions and stamps. Evidence of its libary days includes paper and glue residue to the fixed end pages, a "property of" stamp to the front free end page, a library card pocket to the back free end page, visible wear and handling, a cracked front hinge, etc. etc. . However, the pages are clean and complete, and the dust jacket shows edgewear, including two short closed tears, but few signs of its library days. Synopsis: Susan's friend R. Dragon has gone away on holiday, but he has left a very special book for her, which told of how the Dragon had served King Arthur faithfully.
