Boston: Phillips, Sampson, and Company, 1856. 329 pages, plus ads, and 376 pages. Ads on end leaves. Possibly a married set, as Volume II is a little darker and does not have the printing stated. Blind stamped brown cloth with gilt stamped lettering on spine. Spine ends show a little chipping, more so at crowns. Light wear at corners. Both volumes show a little spine lean. Scattered, mostly light, foxing and a few stains. A couple of the signatures in Volume II are slightly sprung, but both volumes remains tight with no loosening of any leaves. . First Edition, Thirtieth Thousand. Cloth - Hard Cover. Fair+/No Dust Jacket.
