Boston: Phillips, Sampson and Company, 1856. First edition. Hardcover. Octavo, Two volumes (vi, 329 pages ; v, 370 pages). In Fair condition. Spines are grey with gold print. Boards in grey cloth, blind stamp design. Wear to spine caps and corners, cocked spines, light shelf wear. Text blocks have name in ink and damp stain on front endpaper, first volume has bookseller stamp on front endpaper, intermittent spine breaks, paper is mildly puckered.
