Chilton Book, 1965. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Signed by Author. Stated first edition on copyright page. First state, with a blue cloth binding and a four line publisher address on rear jacket flap. A Frank Herbert signed and inscribed title page from the first paperback printing of Dune is affixed to the front end page. Small mark to jacket flap and some slight sunning to jacket spine. End pages have been professionally replaced. Binding is strong. Some rubbing and edge wear to points, bottom cloth worn through to boards on tips. Text is unmarked. A few dog ears and some staining to page 110. Verso of jacket flaps have some light glue residue from where they used to be attached to paste downs. A presentable copy in very good condition. Jacket in Mylar.
