About This Item
Morrow, 2001. As new in like non-price-clipped dust jacket. A lovely copy. Signed and dated on Halloween (October 31, 2001 ) by Ray Bradbury. Ray Bradbury's only bestseller. Not many were signed, especially with the Halloween date. Certificate of Assurance comes with this book. First edition. Illustrated by Charles Addams (Cover). Book shown is the actual book on this rarity. Ray Bradbury was ill at the time this book was issued. I had the RARE opportunity THEN to get a few copies signed and dated on Halloween at his Los Angeles home. A GREAT ITEM to have!!! Only a FEW of these were inscribed with the Oct. 31, 2001 date. This book has several things going for it: (1) the Halloween date (2) it IS a book about vampires and Halloween related things (3) it was Ray Bradbury's only best-seller (4) it has previously unpublished Charles Addams art for the dust jacket. (5) I provide you, the buyer witha letter of authenticity stating that I personally provided this book to Ray Bradbury for the signature and the Halloween date, for resale and/or insurance purposes and most importantly.to protect your investment book from fraudulent signatures. I have heard that a Time Burton film is being made from this book (8-22-2012) Thank you, John Anthony Miller, at Phantom Bookshop in Ventura, CA.. Illus. by Charles Addams. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. As New/As New.
