E. Lawrence (1888-1935), which includes illustrations, a foreword and preface, as well as an author's note. Often referred to as 'Lawrence of Arabia', Lawrence was particularly well-known for his role in the Arab Revolt.Contents are broken down into two parts, those being 'The Lawrence Canon' and 'Biography and Criticism', which includes sections on books, periodical articles, newspaper articles, and works by T. E. Lawrence, as well as works that are about him. Written by Philip M. O'Brien, the Library Director the Wardman Library, as well as a collector of T. E. Lawrence's works. Illustrated bookplate to front paste own belonging to Tamworth House in Wiltshire.Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with just a few spots to the text block.
