About This Item
SIGNED copy of Wilbur Smith's novel EAGLE IN THE SKY
SIGNED and inscribed to its title-page, likely in 1974, going by the style of Wilbur's handwriting. Having passed away, Wilbur no longer signs books, so now it is imperative to get as much of his handwriting within a collectible first edition.
NOTICE: this copy's dust jacket has pink title on its spine as bright and unfaded as that found on the front panel. THIS IS VERY RARE, which makes this copy so desirable.
First edition, first printing from 1974. This novel was popular and enjoyed numerous re-printings/subsequent impressions. First printing are not very common.
A must for the serious collector, despite the few flaws it has (see photos).
The photos are part of the description, so study them carefully, as they are very helpful, and of the actual books being sold. DO NOT BUY FROM SELLERS WHO USE STOCK PHOTOS ! ! !
