Approx. 13.5" x 10". 24 pages of pasted down news clippings and misc. items from the Tacoma and Seattle Washington area. Dates on articles and writings range from 1907 to 1923. Contents include typed speeches and verse some signed by M. J. Buren; a signed note transferring title and interest to M.J. Buren for 'one Model 40 Jackson touring car No. 7554' for payment of $1950; a group of people photographed in an open touring car; a group photograph of World War I soldiers; two pictures of a man sitting on a horse; "Initiative" printed motivational piece from Elbert Hubbard; a typed poem on World War I soldiers titled "Over There"; a clipping titled "Taft Camps on Teddy's Trail", a two page article "If I had My Life to Live Over" by Russell Sage; a periodical clipped article "Broken-Winged Butterflies" by Herbert Kaufman 1912; and a clipped article titled "Tacoma's Soldier's Poem is Picked as Among 250 Best (W.F. Lewis picture). A particular clipped article discusses M. J. Buren's new volume. The article titled "Tacoma Man Writes an Unusual Volume" reviews the book "Jungles, Or Observations From Practical Life" published by Smith-Digby Company". Other articles cover politics, labor unions, laundry industry, city growth, Europe Union, World War I news clipping showing map "Driving the Huns Back from the French Frontier; and news clipped picture of Tacoma guard leaders (Lieut.
