This work was originally edited by Russell Whitehead and Frank Brown and published as a part of the White Pine Monograph Series. This new edition was edited by Lisa Mullins. The text is accompanied by b&w photos as well as measured drawings and focuses primarily on houses of Rhode Island with chapters on a number of colonial era communities. Glossy green pictorial covers are in very nice condtion as are the contents with the exception of the last two pages which are creased (probably from improper storage at one time). No dust jacket, as issued.; Architectural Treasures of Early America Series; B&W Illustrations and Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 238 pages .
