Franklin Center: The Franklin Library. Near Fine. 1977. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Louis Bromfield (1896-1956) was an American author and winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1927 for this book. This is a stated Limited Edition and is beautifully bound in full light brown leather with three raised bands with gilt spine and cover lettering and decoration. All edges are gilt, and it has red moire end paperas and a red sewn-in silk ribbon bookmark. There is a slight bump to the top rear corner tip, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. ; B&W Illustration; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 338 pages .
Synopsis
Early Autumn is a 1926 novel by Louis Bromfield. It won the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1927.
