The Arthur H. Clark Company, 1938-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. Signed by Author. Signed on the front endpaper, below a personal gift inscription, by the author, dated April 1947. I have just the very chipped front and rear panels of the dust jacket, now preserved in a Brodart sleeve. The ribbed orange cloth boards are rubbed at the edges and corners, where the undersurface is showing through, spine shows wear its whole length, text remains strong. Clipping affixed to inside cover has tanned the front endpaper, where it is signed, the clipping depicts the author. 1/1019 copies. All orders packed with care, independent bookseller since 2011
