Green's Historical Series booklet Number One provides information of early days in Kansas along the Santa Fe Trail in the counties of Douglas, Franklin, Shawnee, Osage and Lyon. History of the area and some pioneers is provided along with personal narratives of events. Some taken from newspapers of the day. Covers chipped at the corners and fore-edge of front cover and fore-edge of rear cover, else interior is clean and tight and overall a very good copy.
