Cloth over boards has light edge rubbing. Gilt design on front is bright; lettering and design on spine a bit darkened. ; History of Georgetown in the 18th century as well as other aspects of the city of Washington in its early history. Illustrated with many black and white photographs, mostly by the author. Originally published in 1899 by the Neale Company, Washington D.C. ; 8.25" tall; 328 pages.
