Victoria, BC: Provincial Archives Department , 1926. Bound in tan cloth, black lettering on upper board and on spine, beveled boards. Some light soiling of boards, darkening of spine, and a couple of pages roughly opened on top edge. Overall an excellent, clean, tight copy. Memoir No. VI of the Archives of British Columbia, being for the most part official correspondence taken from original documents in the Provincial Archives, annotated by Howay and who has furnished a very complete introduction to this interesting period of the Colonial history of British Columbia. 126 pages with index plus 10 sepia toned plates from photos. This copy is inscribed thusly on the front pastedown "Hon. Mr. Justice Murphy / with Compliments of J. Forsyth / May 14/26". Forsyth was the Librarian and Archivist of the Provincial Library and contributed a one page foreword to this volume.. Signed by Archivist. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No Jacket as Issued.
