London and Cheltenham: E.J.Burrow & Co., 1927. Book. Fair. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Undated, but c.1927.Grey paper-covered boards with white cloth spine, and title in navy blue on front cover. A Rolls-Royce bookmark is attached with blue cord, and a Rolls-Royce compliment slip is loosely inserted. Condition: Fair, covers are generally shelfworn with sunning to cover edges and light soiling. There is a coffee/tea splashmark to the top left corner of the front cover, not affecting the book internally in any way. Binding sound, no inscriptions. This book does not include reference to the very early motor vehicles of the mid 19th century, but rather records interesting facts relating to the history of the first few years of the use of petrol vehicles on the roads, with particular reference to Rolls-Royce. 80pp.many b/w illustrations plus 64pp.adverts, some in colour. .
