About This Item
Thomas Y. Crowell, 1893. Hardcover. Very Good. Very good maroon cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with gilt letter to spine and blindstamp decoration to cover that says Astor Edition shows some bending from storage, mild shelfwear including some rubbing and bit of scratching to covers, along with some other mild trace wear. 511 pages with frontispiece photo of Whittier. Still a pleasing copy of these early poems from Whittier with accompanying biographical sketch by Dole.
