Very good. Octavo; pp; xiv, 15-191; Light blue paper covered boards with a cream paper title label paste down on front board. Cream cloth spine with small paper title label. Deckled paper edges. Light shelf wear and edge wear to boards.
Howes S 358. This copy bears the bookplate of Henry Gibbes Morgan Jr, a scion of a very prominent New Orleans family. "French exploration of the Mississippi Valley in the 17th and early 18th centuries. Howes S-358. Sabin 80003. Larned 1188: "[French narratives] collected, translated, and annotated by Dr. Shea."
