Boston: Gould and Lincoln, 1854. Seventh edition, title page dated 1854. Mid 1800s view of how geography and climate impacted human development including race and religion. Light brown cloth with gilt spine lettering and blind stamped cover design, color map frontis, other other maps. Fair to good with expected cover wear including light fraying to corners and spine ends, godo inges, sound text block, pages have occasional light foxing and a light colored transparent stain to the outer margins of the final third of the book, no interference with legibility, name of Brown University and 1856 date handwritten on the front free endpaper, no other markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
