Complete with all 18 illustrated plates called for present and the color folding map which has 3 tape repairs on the verso and an archival tape repair along the first left side fold. See photo. Foxing through out, high-tide moisture line in the margin of the plates and to a lesser extent; affecting some of the illustrations. Please ask if you would like to see more photographs, as I have only included representational plates. This volume has been professionally restored; it has been rebacked with the original spine and boards, it has new head and tail pieces and new black endpapers, preserving it for reading for many years to come. It is tight. clean, no names, no writing and a good solid research copy.
