Ebony walking stick (Central Africa c1950's) carved from a single piece of wood, combining abstract patterns with figurative elements (man and woman's head in profile), 11cm at the handle tapering to circular silver end, 4 piercings to wood at lower end and circular piercing towards top; Very Good condition; from the collection of (retired) ethnologist Malcolm Wilson, who travelled widely through Africa and South East Asia in the 1950's-1970's.
