Indianapolis, IN: E.C. Atkins and Co., [1923]. Tall 8vo. 286 pp. Colour-decorated title page, some pages with colour-tinted borders, with 100s of photo and text illustrations (some colour-tinted). Blue-gray embossed limp covers, embossed raised gilt & black lettering on front cover (minor soiling, slight lean), still VG exemplar. First edition of this lavish 1920s Atkins’ saw catalogue promoting the company saws for sawmills, logging operations, loggers, and carpenters in the 1920s. This very successful company was originally founded in 1855, and became well known for their circular sawblades, and bandsaw blades, circular saw equipment, metal sawblades, as well as their patented crosscut saws.
