The binding is original, paper covered boards in good condition, paper spine label complete, now protected in a removable sleeve, very clean. Contents clean and tight; attractive bookplate bearing the name Sliochd Ian Dubh with the motto, fide parta fide aucta to the front pastedown, This belonged to the Mackenzie clan,no inscriptions, no spotting. A very good copy in its origianal binding..
