Originally published in 1963 by The Stonewall Press as On The Edge. Presentation copy, inscribed by Levine on the half-title page to the poet Jane Cooper, who was his fellow student in John Berryman's class at the University of Iowa: "March 17, 76. For my dear Jane, May your power gather + your pen flow with new wonders. Your ancient brother, Phil". Also signed by Levine on the title page. Fine copy. 8vo, wrappers. Fine copy.
