Paris: Chez Jean Baptiste Coignard, 1682.. First edition, folio, (xiv), 323, (1) pp. Engraved title page and 137 plates, 21 of which are double page, later bookplate. Early 20th century half morocco, marbled sides, recent repair to the foot of the joints. A handsome copy of the first accurately measured survey of Rome's ancient building, correcting many errors made by Palladio and others.
