Elegantly rebound in 1/2 leather with marbled boards, matching marbled EPs, raised bands spine, untrimmed text block. The book is in nice condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages (NOT ex-library), clean, minor rubbing to spine ribs and extreme tips of corners, solid binding, small foxing spots on a few preliminary and a few final pages otherwise most pages are free of foxing, complete with all pages and folding map at page 364. The book measures 230mm tall x 155mm, and has 364 pages, many b/w illustrations, large folding map, 24 pages of publisher's book advertisements dated 1894 at end starting with publisher's list of available catalogues (index on verso) followed by ads starting with Abbot's History of Greece. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
