Two half-leather hardcovers with green leather spines with raised bands and gilt lettering and decorations; boards covered in marbled paeprs; text block edges painted blue; 409 and 452 pages; 1826 only date; text in French. Volume One: bubbling to paper on front board; slight edge wear; loss of color to exterior joints; front joint just starting to crack at top; straight; small bookshop label inside; very slight foxing to front matter, otherwise pages in excellent condition. Volume Two: slight bubbling to paper on back board; some loss of color to exterior joints; straight; small bookshop stamp inside; short tear to title page of volume one, otherwise pages in excellent condition. .
