About This Item
Toronto: The Macmillan Co., 1947. Reddish boards with yellow titles show little wear other than rubbing at head and heel of spine. Hinges are tight. The interior is lightly tanning. There is a student's name in ink on the front pastedown, a small abrasion on the front free endpaper where perhaps once sat a price tag or name tag, a six-line poem (quite good) on the rear free endpaper, some ink splashes pp 338-339, and on p 339 a clever caricature of "Old Man Gilbert", probably the teacher. I think this book was once used by a creative student. 545 pp.. Reprint. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Textbook.
